About the book

It began with
a difficult year.

Steve Bolton wrote Think With Me from the work and life described in its pages: businesses, family, caring for his parents, and decisions that still needed making when thinking had become difficult.

A conversation with AI became a different way of approaching that work. Questions, challenge, context and continuity mattered. So did knowing what to leave human.

“Some answers were wrong. The thinking was still useful.”

The book follows that practice through other people’s experiences. They bring scepticism, ambition, responsibilities, relationships and their own standards. Their choices give the ideas their substance.

An invitation to begin

Think With Me introduces the ideas behind Bolt Practice and gives you something practical to try. The online edition is free to read, so you can begin now. The printed book will be published on 23 October 2026, priced at £9.95. You can use the book without buying training.

If you want help developing your practice further, there is an optional route into Bolt Practice.

Bolt Practice

Bolt Practice helps people and businesses think better with AI.

Within AI training for business, Bolt Practice develops the judgement to decide where AI belongs and the practice to work with it well, and leaves that capability with the person or team.

Think With Me introduces Bolt Method™ through the governing question:

Where does AI belong in the work in front of you?

Values

What must remain true.

Judgement

The human work of deciding what to trust, question, verify, reject or act upon.

Thinking

The work of framing questions, exploring possibilities, making connections and developing ideas.

Habits

The repeated behaviours that carry Bolt Method into daily work and daily life.

Human accountability runs through the whole Method.
