Book access

The first chapter and Walk and Talk are open. To unlock the complete book and the exercise from Chapter 15, we ask for your first name and email address. Surname and country are optional; we do not ask for a postcode. The details are stored in the website’s contact database for Bolt Practice, a trading name of Athena Veritas Ltd.

We use your first name and email to provide book access and manage your contact record. An optional surname helps us identify your record when you contact us; an optional country helps us understand where readers are based.

The book opens immediately after your details are saved. No access email is sent. Email addresses are not verified by this form.

Optional updates

The updates checkbox asks whether you would like occasional Bolt Practice emails with ideas, book updates, and news about events and training. It is optional and starts unchecked. Reading the book does not depend on selecting it. We record your choice, the wording shown and the date. An email delivery service is not currently connected.

You can withdraw your preference for updates by emailing hello@athenaveritas.ai. If we send updates in future, they will include an unsubscribe option.

We never sell your personal data. Refusing or withdrawing consent to marketing does not remove your access to the book.

Your Walk and Talk conversation

The spoken conversation takes place in the AI app you choose. This website does not receive or record it. The app provider’s own privacy and retention rules apply. Deleting a conversation there may not remove every retained copy immediately.

What is saved on your device

A book-access cookie lets this browser reopen the book for six months. Reading position and text-size preferences are saved in browser storage. Clearing the cookie removes access on this device; you can enter your details again.

Exercise answers remain in the current page unless you choose to save or download them. Saved practice notes are held in this browser, not in the contact database. They do not follow you to another device, and anyone using the same browser may be able to read them. Clearing browser storage removes them.

Help and requests about your details

Email hello@athenaveritas.ai for help opening the book, questions about how long your contact details are kept, or to request access, correction or deletion of your details.

Removing practice notes in your browser does not remove your contact record. Contact details can also be exported to an Excel contact list for Bolt Practice; your exercise answers are not included.

Operating the website

The website uses hosting and database services to serve pages and store submitted contact details. A short-lived, hashed network identifier is used to limit repeated form submissions. This identifier is separate from exercise answers.

The website does not include advertising trackers or collect the text of your reflections for analytics.
